ECOWASTENZ

— IN-VESSEL COMPOSTING SYSTEMS

Turn daily organic waste into finished compost, on site, in days.

The Biovator is a fully enclosed rotating drum that composts food waste, manure, or livestock mortality continuously — no turning, no windrows, no waiting for a batch to finish before you load the next one.

◀ LOAD ZONE   ━━━━ ◇ ACTIVE COMPOSTING ZONE ◇ ━━━━   DISCHARGE ▶

WASTE + CARBON IN     130–160°F INTERNAL TEMPERATURE     FINISHED COMPOST OUT

4–14 DAY CYCLECONTINUOUS LOAD / DISCHARGE
HOW IT WORKS

One drum, three things happening at once

Because the drum is loaded continuously, waste at different stages of decomposition sits side by side inside it at all times — you're never waiting on a single batch.

01

Load

Fresh waste goes in with a carbon source — wood shavings or a similar bulking agent — at roughly a 1:1 ratio.

ANY TIME, ANY VOLUME UP TO CAPACITY
02

Rotate

A timer turns the drum in short intervals. Internal paddles mix the material and auger it toward the far end.

130–160°F INTERNAL TEMPERATURE
03

Discharge

Finished compost exits the far end a little at a time with every rotation — no need to stop to unload.

WHY IN-VESSEL

How it stacks up against the alternatives

Open piles and windrows work, but they're slow, exposed to weather, and need regular turning. In-vessel composting keeps the process enclosed, controlled, and continuous.

METHOD      TIME TO FINISHED      LABOR      WEATHER      ODOR / PEST

Biovator     4–14 days     Minutes/day     Enclosed     Low

Windrow / open pile     2–9 months     Regular turning     Fully exposed     High

Incineration     Same day     Fuel + upkeep     Enclosed     Emissions

Third-party rendering     Pickup-dependent     Scheduling     Transport risk     Biosecurity risk

MODELS

Sized to how much you generate

Every model shares the same enclosed-drum design. The difference is drum diameter and daily throughput.

MODEL A

Compact

3 ft drum diameter

Daily capacity   60–150 lb
Best for   Small farms, kitchens
Footprint   ~10 × 4 ft

MODEL B

Standard

4 ft drum diameter

Daily capacity   150–600 lb
Best for   Mid-size livestock ops
Footprint   ~16 × 5 ft

MODEL C

High-volume

5.5 ft drum diameter

Daily capacity   up to 1,500 lb
Best for   Poultry, large campuses
Footprint   ~24 × 7 ft

WHO IT'S FOR

Anywhere organic waste shows up every day

If waste arrives on a schedule, a continuous-load system fits better than a batch process.

Livestock & poultry farms

Manage daily mortality on site, without third-party pickup or the biosecurity risk it carries.

Food service & grocery

Divert kitchen and prep waste from the dumpster into a product you can use or sell.

Campuses & institutions

Handle dining-hall volume without a compost yard or dedicated turning schedule.

Municipal & landscaping

Process yard waste and biosolids into a usable soil amendment near the source.
